Bad
things, sometimes really bad things, happen. They don't have to define
you. It's not who you are, it's something that happened. It will change
you and you won't be the same person you were before but it's ok to not
be the same person. It's what you do as that new person that's
important.
You can let it consume you or you can live with it. You can
think about it all day everyday or it can come into your mind everyday
because you will never forget it but then let it go. You don't have to
be the victim and you don't have to be the survivor, you can just be.
